The Need for the PARC

Over the years, the need for a larger facility for the parish has become evident. The following points illustrate our need for this proposed facility:

• Will provide a place large enough for all parish members to gather.
• Can host parish events, such as missions, weddings, luncheons/dinners, funerals and celebrations like St. Patrick's Day.
• Will provide an alternative location for larger worship services.
• Will establish parish recreation activities for parish adults and other presently underserved groups.
• Will provide space for school Physical Education classes.
• Can host school or community music concerts and/or theater presentations.
• Will provide an indoor facility for physical conditioning.
• Will provide practice facility for grades 4-8 athletic teams: Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, Track & Cross-Country, Soccer.
• Will alleviate the daily labor of setting up and tearing down chairs and/or cafeteria tables when coordinating multiple activities around school lunch.
• Large area to seat crowds for conferences, K-8 Awards Programs, K-8 After Hours, Annual Dinner Auction.
• Will be able to host diocesan league volleyball and basketball games.
• Frees up other rooms for small group tutoring and counseling.
• Provides much-needed storage space.
• Provides a concession area for events.
• Provides a commons area for fellowship.
• Enhances our school facilities to be more competitive in recruiting students.
