ST. PATRICK EARLY LEARNING CENTER 226 Elm St. London OH 43140 (740) 852-0161 ext. 150 Our preschool program was established in 2002 to provide quality care for children ages 2 ½ to 5. The ELC is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and is a part of St. Patrick School. The ELC has two programs available to parents – full-time and part-time. The full-time program comprises of preschool with wrap-around care (daycare). The part-time program is preschool only (9:00 to 11:30am) on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.. Our programs are guided by the Early Learning Content Standards set by the Ohio Department of Education. The program director holds a Master’s diploma in Early Childhood Development. Each staff member involved in the program meets certain in-service education requirements each year. TUITION SCHEDULE 2009-2010 Registration Fee $60 per child Part-Time: Participating 3 days per week (MWF) $1215 per year (9 equal monthly payments of $135) Non-Participating 3 days per week (MWF) $1305 per year (9 equal monthly payments of $145) Full-Time: (excluding lunches) Participating Full day M-F $4600 per year (10 equal monthly payments of $460) Non-Participating Full day M-F $5000 per year (10 equal monthly payments of $500) Participating Full day – 3 days per week $3200 per year (10 equal monthly payments of $320) Non-Participating Full day – 3 days per week $3600 per year (10 equal monthly payments of $360) *Full-time care is available for 41 weeks beginning August 24th 2009 to June 4th 2009.

School Age Care (Latchkey) News

Welcome to the St. Patrick School Age Care (SAC) Program! We are a year-round program for children ages 5-12 licensed by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) housed in the Learning Center at St. Patrick’s School. We provide care on school days - Monday through Friday - 6:30am to 8:30am before school and 3:30pm to 6:00pm after school. During school breaks and on calamity days and holidays, care is provided from 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. As a school age program, we provide the following services: Breakfast and afternoon snack served daily (packed lunches should be brought from home during school holidays, breaks, and on snow days) Homework assistance and time to complete assignments daily Computers and software, including Accelerated Math and Accelerated Reader Daily activities selected by the staff members to foster emotional, intellectual, physical, and social growth and that are creative and geared toward seasonal themes and child interests SAC also plans activities to build community appreciation and awareness. Past projects include: Madison County Humane Society, crafts for the Arbors, picking up litter in the neighborhood, raising money for less fortunate children, and writing to soldiers overseas. Our staff is continuously growing professionally. Each staff member is required to take at least 15 hours of in-service covering child development, first aide/CPR, classroom management, and integrating the arts. Changing enrollment options for a significant period of time must be requested in writing, at least a week before said change is to be in effect.
